Fortunately for me, as indicated in my avatar, NOT screwed by charliem....here's why....

Yes, I wanted to buy a swim platform from him. It was described as perfect, shown on a boat very similar to one of mine.

Suddenly, I have pm's flooding my box....from other members here that have had "less-than-ideal" transactions with charliem.

I ask him to go 50/50, escrow....back and forth....then thread deleted "due to sold".....

Suddenly, it is BACK again.....and relisted.....AS PERFECT.

However, it is a platform that takes a great picture, but has been full of water for (?) because one of the welds failed.....

The rumor flying around about the repair is that charlie drilled a hole, drained the platform, and resealed the hole with JB weld.

So, who else has a story?
