That really sucks! I was thinking about buying a used set of props that are in the shop/swap section. After a couple months of reading all the horror stories & users getting ripped off by other users I think I'm just going to invest in a new set.

Pretty quick people are going to have to give used parts away at this rate. I hate shady ass people :angry-smiley-038:

rob,in your conversation with brett, did he say the props were ok to use after he repaired the,im no prop expert, but if they were junk,i would think he would label them that way and send them back to the owner unrepaired.i would hate to see bblades,or any other prop repair facility doctoring up junk so the owner can sell it to some unsuspecting buyer.

:poopoo: I don't see any good coming out of this one!!!
as a business owner myself, I would state to my customerthat the repair is not recommended and opt not to do the job, however some customers just want it fixed
"TO GET BY WITH" as I've heard far too much in these faultering economic times.
What are we really to do when a customer has it set in his mind that he just wants it fixed even if "NO WARRANTY" Just goes to show you that there is no justice in this world and we're all subject to the mig microscope... so do onto others as you expect to be done on yourself!!!

just my 2 cents but the title of this thread is a little misleading, by looking at it i thought the issue was with brett...may want to change it to reflect the guilty party and not bblades.

No Rob, Shame on you for lying and misrepresenting what really happened. You told me the props ran great on your boat and you were very happy. It wasn't until you ran your boat aground and bent the ears that you had a problem. I spoke to Brett at BBlades and he told me what had happened and that I owed you nothing!
I'm not a bad guy and I'm definitely not one to take advantage of anyone. This is proven by the fact that when you called, I offered to send you another set of props.
Anyone out there who is in doubt can contact Brett @ BBlades for clarification. And Brett wouldn't have fixed the props if they were going to be a problem.
And one more things Rob, you're tough guy attitude and talk is rather unbecoming.
Keep things civil!
