Break In at Flint's in Ft. Lauderdale

I lost my gimbal housings off my 255 Formula with RAMs.

Be on the look out for anyone trying to move 2008 or later very fresh Bravo Transom Assemblies in SE Florida.

This is just one more kick in the gut for me!!!

machloosy 03-19-2013 08:37 AM

I'm so sorry to hear John. Especially with the fiasco with the last one.

pasquesi 03-19-2013 01:01 PM

That's just f u c k e d.:poopoo: What a kick in the balls. I'm dying to see your boat running. I've been following your threads from the beginning.

Maybe somebody here has a pair of assemblies they can help you out with.

sprink58 03-19-2013 05:17 PM

Billy called me this AM and told me. My 255 Formula was in the yard with the Transom assemblies installed. He went this AM to pull mine into the shop to set the engines and drives and discovered that the lock on the gate had been cut and my Transom Assemblies were gone!!! Called Ft. Lauderdale PD...spoke with Jason at Brand X , Tommy at Chief and the guys at Cobra.

Be on the lookout for a pair of 08 Bravo Transom Assemblies Complete with Rams, Hoses, Cables, etc.....very fresh...less than 50 fresh water hours. This is a real kick in the gut for me and really sets me back.

My wife has Multiple Sclerosis and using this boat is one of the things we have been looking forward to since I started this project...It broke my heart to tell her that we have yet another set back to overcome after getting so close to getting in the water again.

Somebody in South Florida that reads this knows something...please share what you know...you will be isolated from being accused...I just want my $hit back!!!

They didn't get the inner plates or the pumps...must have been in a hurry...things like my Smith Mod 29 .44 Magnum come into my mind very quickly if i could get a shot off!!!

If anyone even gets a sniff of these things call John at 561-707-5150

sprink58 03-20-2013 07:29 PM

Got a video....:evilb::evilb:stay tuned....I can't touch you now...but two things are sure as Hell. Your Dirty...and I'm patient.:cool:

502ss 03-20-2013 07:36 PM

Hopefully the video unveils something! Throw the book at those phuckers! :violent-smiley-045:

sprink58 03-23-2013 07:04 PM

We think we know who got them and they went on a Cigarette Top Gun that's now somewhere in Miami. Sort of like finding a particular grain of sand at the beach!!!

I think I have a better chance of seeing Jesus drive up with my new Ferrari than getting them back....time to move on and build around another pair.

Take a lesson from this...don't let your guard down...security is a state of mind. There is always some turd out there greedy enough to take your treasure from you...don't give them the opportunity ...because they will take it.

johnnyboatman 03-26-2013 09:43 PM

yes 5200 the next ones on, sorry for your loss.

Shouldn't this be the shops responsibilty to replace the transom assemblies since they were working on the boat????

sprink58 03-30-2013 07:41 AM

OK...DAMN what hell the past few weeks have been.

Anyway...getting with Diego tomorrow to get T/A's and a Bravo I. Oil Coolers are on the motors. i have worked out an arrangement with Billy Flint that finishes everything up...he is a serious stand up guy...and is as sick over this whole pile of $hit as I am.

The plan is for all of this to come together next week

Stay tuned....happy times are on the way!!

Audiofn 03-31-2013 06:30 AM

Man that sucks! Hope you get it in the water soon! Who knew we needed locks on the transome assemblies as well!!!

There is a guy on the Facebook\Powerboat Swap Shop page with a set of Gimbles for sale... I don't know the guy, and Probably not yours, but figured it was worth bringing attention to...

That guy seems to be listing a lot of Hi-Po marine stuff. By no means calling the guy a theif, but worth bringing it up.....

LOL i hope not!!! He dose have a LOT of nice high end stuff but I know him personally VERY well and he is a awesome guy to deal with to say the least!! be careful what you say or insinuate, people might take it the wrong way and you could piss someone off.

low_psi 04-25-2013 04:20 PM

Was just stating the facts. Never called anyone anything.. Just stated he had a lot of high dollars stuff showing up on Facebook.... It even says in my last post "By no means calling the guy a theif".

sprink58 04-25-2013 04:54 PM

The fellow on Facebook is in NC and not connected to my issue at all.

low_psi 04-25-2013 05:09 PM

It was worth checking out. I read this thread and shortly there after saw the two assemblies on FB . Figured it was worth a look....
