Grifters rely on their ability to judge character. Who they will hurt and who will hurt them. Yes, so far they remain lucky. But, grifters nonetheless. Since they continue their ways it's important to keep warnings posted. Hence, the controversy concerning the thread removal. A warning sign removed, while the hazard remains means another victim.

I'm with you 100%. Several sites protect scum like these guys. I have lost several (what I thought to be) friends over making others aware of scammers in my area. The way I was raised is your word is your bond. And a deal could be sealed with a handshake. Hell. No one know how to properly shake a hand anymore, if at all. I hope to read about their luck running out. Carry on.

Every good business has a customer review section, they realize some will be positive and some negative that's just business , I'm guessing they understand this would not help them in there future business so I doesn't exists ! These threads serve as that section for them !

You also know that as part of the deal Berk can not publicly state any fact or opinions regarding the manufacturer so don't expect to see him here. However, I wonder if that becomes null & void if the manufacturer doesn't pay him a single penny. If they had $125K sitting around they would have built him a boat.

How does one pay $125 for a 28' boat that's not an OL or Skater anyway?

I believe near the end the builder was trying to provide a powerboat (complete with tacky name on fairing). But, the screwing they provided was of such high quality, it extinguished the desire to own the powerboat. As it would be a constant reminder of the troubled times. Cash back/clean severance was all that would be accepted.
