That's the response we expect when faced with an out of the ordinary production problem.
Eddie Marine Response is unacceptable and we shouldn't have to get attorneys involved with
Such obvious production failures, if they are rare, if not rare then maybe I can understand
Their poor response and "Everyone beware"......

Edit in: what I wrote in this post earlier and just erased is NOT TRUE. I searched and realized I made a mistake. I mistook Eddie Marine for Dana Marine.

When I got my attorney involved, they then stated communicating with me and my attorney. Prior to that they, I sent them the damaged spacer after it went through the motor and cracked the block. They said it was not their problem. Thank god I took pics of the damaged spacer and kept it. After that, thats when I got an attorney and got some of my money back. It cost me close to $10,000.00 to redo the motor and I think I got around $6,000.00 from them to do their defective part. The funny thing is they sent me another air cleaner with the same problem ( threads only in 1-2 turns, no lock tight, etc). We kept it and made the necessary repairs to it and never had a problem with it. We also welded the spacer into the billet so the spacer could never fall through the carb again.

Default Eddie marine is the worst

This is the worst customer service and company to deal with. Coo is a complete dick and poorly run company. Ordered a couple parts and selling parts they dont have in stock or can get!
