OH - since you where standing there, what did the piston tops look like ? The rod bearings ? The piston pins ? The ring lands ?

Edited: for one spelling mistake and addition of the last question.

Could OL460's IP address help narrow him down?

I just had to post on here before it's to late.
I've tried to buy from him a few times seemed a bit off didn't buy. The last time I was there in his shop he told me a price by the next day when I left a check for the parts .....price changed. I said no but was already gone. He didn't cash the check though that's good.
It was kind of a used car deal I guess Randy said this price next day the counter guy said no that cant be right and so on. Might work on most people not on me.....I'm BROKE son.

OL 46, can you please tell me exactly what parts that were used in your engine? Not trying to start anything here at all. I'm not sure if it was posted and I missed it. I did see the timing belt. I also saw the oil pan that looks like someone attacked it with a chainsaw. I know the bearings looked like hell, especially for an engine with dyno time only. But the bearings looking like hell doesn't really surprise me with all of the metal shavings in the heads. I just wanted to know what else was used that was installed in the engine.
Thanks.

Depends how smart he is - or willing to take time to hide from a 'normal' ip address.

Not too tough nowadays. Pssst: I'm not spilling the beans nor should anyone else so it's not public to people like him. If , again, he doesn't know.

you can ID it coming in and trap it, but there's no GPS on an IP, it would take extensive investigation to track it to an address
