Chevy kodiak 4500 stolen
 

Please keep a look out for a 2004 Chevy Kodiak C4500 with a western hauler body white in color. It was stolen from me at 4am Wednesday morning in northeastern NC. The guy that stole the truck is on the run and has stolen several vehicles. He came to look at buying the truck and stole the extra key of the key ring while he was looking at the truck, came back and stole the truck at 4am the next morning. Both back doors have "NOT FOR HIRE" on the bottoms, the entire truck is loaded with LED lights.

If you see the truck, please call the police and keep the truck in your sight if possible until they arrive. A reward will be given if you find this truck!!

There was no plate on the truck when he took it. The thing to look of is the 4 quarter sized round orange LED lights in the running boards, I put them in the running boards, not a factory installed item. I also had a set of chrome beads hanging from the mirror I got from "Helen Back" in destin FL. Also had very dark tinted windows.

Hey Curt, his name is James Talmage Scarboro, 22-23 years old, 5'4 5'5, 140-50lbs, dressed in all camo, camo rubber boots on, camo hat, skinnin knife attached to his belt that goes to his knee. He has stolen several vehicles, 4 wheelers, campers, horse trailers, tractors. He hides/lives in the woods, sleeps all day and steals all night. The jeep he was driving to my carlot was stolen off a dodge lot nov. 12th. He is out of Pinehurst NC area.

Sounds like you have done your research on him and he appears to be a winner. I know how it feels to have a vehicle stolen, mine was found a week later 3 hrs away in a field stripped down to nothing. sucks.

Update!!! The thief has been caught and is in custody, truck has been recovered, and the Jeep has been recovered. This is great news, he had several maps and notes in the truck of all the next items he had planned to steal, which will now not happen:evilb:

I just want to thank everybody for their help looking for this truck. It was spotted 6hrs away from me. You have to love them old retired guys that hang out at the country store, drinking coffee all day and tellin corny jokes an lies!! Two of them spotted the truck in the parking lot as the boy was begging for money for fuel and said that this doesn't add up!!! He looks like sh*t, smells like sh*t, no phone, beggin for money, BUT he's drivin a $65k truck??? So they called the # off the sticker on the windshield to ask if the truck was missin because sumin was just not right with this picture. They were told the truck was stolen and to call the PD. After a high speed chase, he ditched the truck and ran into the woods. The K9 unit showed up and it was game on!! You can run so long, that dog can run all day. After jumping in the freezing creeks trying to loose the dogs, they were still on his a** and he couldn't go anymore!! He was arrested and has 8+ pages felonies/charges. Long n Short, im glad he's off the streets, lets just hope our justice system keeps him for a long time.

Just wanted to thank everybody one more time, this was a huge loss for me!!
