Scammer tried to fake a seller
 

I replied to a post for a pair of KE two piece valve covers, mistakenly left my number in the reply, some guy texted me to sell them, the post was a guy from Texas but the guy that replied to me had an area code from Baltimore(I googled his number) and wanted me to Zelle the payment to a number that I checked came from Ohio, being Leary I asked for a pic of valve covers and he texts me a pic from the post, I asked for a pic different from the post and why the different area code from Texas and get a story about cancer and having to move in with his daughter, anyway never paid him and this morning the guy from Texas contacted me and we made the deal, beware of a text from 1-410-609-4588 and a Zelle payment number 1-513-373-5968 named Darius.

Couple of years ago, there was a scammer from Ohio named Darius, that was outed on a few drag racing sites. Not sure if it's the same guy but you never know.

He is back at it again. He just sent me multiple text about items I commented on. Doing the same thing as in the past and sending pictures from here, but can’t send different pictures.

Yes I think I got lucky, but original seller listed Texas, scammer phone was from Maryland and Zelle was Ohio, just one too many miss match, from now on definitely going to ask for pictures different from add,I see adrenalinejunky has a couple blowers for sale Hmmmm thinking about one of them but need a Holley 250 as I have a tall deck block and I have a tall deck 250/420 blower manifold, but that will have to wait as I am currently doing two 383 for a 1977 30ft scarab I am restoring or compared to that guy that did a restore on a 30 ft scarab I think my work would be called butchering
