Lake Cumberland PR

Just got back from LC. Had a great time. Ran 3 stops in a 39MTI. That ride really made me appreciate the ride of my BT. Started making my winter maintenance/upgrade list. Wife decided maybe we should keep it after pricing new boats at the PR. She also saw the need for a new 4500 GMC to pull it. What a great woman. Joe Murray

Joe,
My buddy has a chevy 4500 for sale in the classifieds. It has 13k on it and he is going to reduce the price. Call John if interested. 910-376-8113. Trades o.k.

No doubt about keeping it. I let my ad expire. My wife wants to buy a smaller boat (24-28) for local use. Nothing like having two boats to maintain. You can bet her boat will be STOCK and NEW. I am going to try to talk her into going on the Chitown PR. Do you know the dates for next year? If not let me know as far in advance as you can. Joe Murray

I am not sure of the date yet, there was talk about combining the Windy City run with the Chicago Powerboat Club run. I will try to find out.

The 39 isn't as smooth but wasn't it fun? I used to own your boat and now we're building an MTI because I love the feel you get when driving a machine like that. We're going with a six seat 42' though.

The 39 Scism rode like a tank. The ride was very rough. Also the boat had sponson sneeze spray when coming on or going off plane. Good luck with your new build. Whose engine package are you going with? Talk to Pier 57 in Pickwick as they are the US distributor and all the dealers have to go thru him anyway. Joe Murray
