Joe's boat is great, you also need to think about resale and a better motor will be better for resale. Plus the guy that has done his engine work is top notch (he's the guy that did the Nashville Cats Nortech. Also what does your wife and kids know about motors:D, don't you control the throttle:D. We had a 40 Scarab and unless you get a real old Scarab the cabin room will never compare to a BT and that's really what I bet your wife will care about. Joe's boat is attractive, well kept and only a few hours drive to see, I think you are CRAZY not to consider it. OK now that's my humble opinion

Wife backs boat off trailer loads on trailer and drives a lot. These southern girls think they can do it all. We have a twin engine Suerboat 30 twin turboed EFI boat thats fast and loud with TRSs. Just looking for something in mid 60s with nice cabin and silent choice. We boat the Mississippi river. Police starting to crack down on loud pipes even here.
Thanks for the help

She works for Hilton rooms are no problem out of town. Just hard to find a place to park truck and boat when out of town. Looking for bigger boat for the room for riding and people. We ride party and stay nights on the sand bars up a down the river. Need traiiler to pull to lakes sometimes. Really like the 46 EC Boat. Going to call BT today to see what year they came out.
Thanks for the help

The motors in Joe's boat are basically the same motors I had built in my 04 43 Nortech. Eddie Young built 598 CI 750 hp naturally asperated motors. Vertually industructable. Overbuilt and in the Nortech to date with many hours of use. I, also like Joe had #5's on my boat, which is way better than bravo's..A transmission is the way to go, and yes parts are readily available. Great combo, no blowers to worry about, and no drive issues, that's as reliable as it gets. GREAT BOATING. Jeff

Love the boat, motors and drives and diesel gen. Great package. Just wonder how the big boat rides and handles with a load on slow cruise with the 5s. Say 30 to 40 mph.
