If I crop and paste the photo of your engine compartment on to a photo of mine, will it make my boat faster? Tommy

Engine room transfer

Tommy,
If you do, make certain you also cut and paste those #6's as well :)

We don't actually know. We have made some changes since the youtube video, and the boat is screamin. What we do know is, we were on a poker run and the Dirty Duck 42' MTI with 2x1000's had a running start on us, and we still pulled away from him. That was the only time we ran it up, but we had to stop at 119mph for traffic/no wake coming up. It was still accelerating at 1mph per gps update, and the boat was not fully trimmed out, tabs still slightly tucked in, and had half tanks of gas. With the right conditions it would be probably be mid 120's, just speculation tho. We haven't had anytime to run it since that poker run. Hopefully this spring we'll get a chance to stretch it out and see what numbers the boat can post.

Oh, after making changes to the boats setup, 0-102mph is now 20secs.

A quick sidenote, the boat has full time mufflers as well. Here is a thread that goes in depth about them. http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/s...d.php?t=138991

Exiting the can/muffler, it flares from an 8" outlet to 6.5" outlet and then has a 6.5" downturn on the transom. We don't think there is much, if any hp loss because the back pressure is under 1psi.
