Apparently did not sell. High bidder was 66K. It had a 100K reserve.

I did take a look at it but from a distance. The purple cockpit cover was really faded. I'm sure it needs some TLC and some $$$ spent on it. But at 100K it is still a good deal.

Holy crap the interior on that thing is sick!!! That is absolutely gorgeous. Not used to seeing interiors like that. Makes the interior of mine look like crap.

Also I will never forget towing that thing downtown Chicago behind my super cab dually I was a city block long and got all kinds of stares

So here is the deal with the boat … One of my best friends is getting the boat. I am not going to say what he paid for it, but I feel it is a deal of a lifetime. The boat sat for about three years in heated storage. We worked on the boat for a few hours and got it running today. The boat needs a bath and some TLC—around the waterline the paint is bubbling up (I think it could be because of the divers that were cleaning the bottom of the boat). This is only a two-owner boat. Two lawyers had the boat and their partnership went bad. The boat will be going to Milwaukee!!!

Boatme … My friend would like me to ask you for your phone number … he has some questions about this boat. He will soon be a paying member.

Take care
Bryan

The bubbling is probably the gel coat, not the paint. When a fiberglass boat is left in the water, the gel can develop blistering/bubbling. Have a competent gel guy take a look at it. I know a guy in the same area as the yard the boat was in. He can repair the gel, but your buddy will need to have the paint done elsewhere.

Even with the repairs and TLC, I'm sure it was bought right. And it should be on the big lake. It can handle it.

Best of luck to your buddy.
