32' BT info?
 

I am looking at a 93 32’ BT all factory condition. What I am asking about is if these boats were gel coat or painted?

I just bought a 91 BT and it is 100% Gel, no paint. By the way the boat is Awesome. We have had great luck so far. Let me know if you have more questions about it.

There were a couple at LOTO that were stripped of the vinyl graphics and primed and painted white with graphics. One was completely redone by Ratical / Pro Body Works. I sold mine to smckie and owned it for 8yrs. They are great boats with the most room for a 32. Be glad to help also.

What color is it? I can probably tell you if it was painted.

I haven’t purchased the boat yet. Right now I am just trying to do my research and see what I may be getting myself into. The boat is a black and white 1993

Go to http://www.hotboatmfr.com/ and click on 32 series. Btw by the looks of it that boat is gel. Also better be a buy if the rest is as rough as the nose.

That's our old BT....... And yes, the black is paint.

As you might know I haven’t purchased the boat yet but I would like to because as long as I can remember Black Thunder was a name stood out to me and with my budget I have more time and elbow grease then money at this point. The boat is in a very sad state right now but I believe that I can still do something with it.

Can you tell me anything else about the boat from when you had it?

I don't really know much about it's current state. I know it has seen better days though.... If you have any specific questions, let me know and I'll do whatever I can to help you out.

It looks like I am going to have to keep looking. I can't get close enough on the price. Thank you for the help!

What do you guys feel a boat like this should bring? No trailer, the engines are 502s, the steering is not function properly and one engine will not run past 4000 rpm as well as what all of the pictures show.

Just a history lesson. That was the first 32 that was painted rather than gelcoat. After that all of the BT's were painted.

It would have been cool to buy the boat, restore it and call it mini me, but someone already did that....... I guess you still could, after all, there are 3 speed racers.

Thats my buddy tim's boat that is painted like your 43. It was redone by Black Thunder in the late 90's I think
