What is the top speed of your water condo?
 

Hey guys I have not seen a new thread in the BT section in a long time so I thought I would start one.

How fast does your BT run and what power do you have? I would like to get an idea how many are running in the 90 plus range.

My guess would be that not too many are 90+

09 46 700's 86-91

There were a few other fast boats built but the owners are not online

Indy car racer has a 46 with Merc 850s speed unknown

46 with triples 108

That there seems to be quite a few condos over 90. Very impressive! Im am hoping to add my 43 to that list.

When are the engines for your 43 going on the dyno? SHould be interesting with the new head configuration.

I don't think your 43' will have any trouble getting on there...... Just don't have the XR's on! lol

Our engines are still in the process. Waiting on intakes, pistons, and headers.

95 43 with twins. I have fresh hp 500s going in for now but also have a set of 700hp 540s ready to go as soon as I figure out drives. Never had it on the water and not sure what to expect out of either one.

My Buddy is building his 43 Set up will have triple 900hp engines with IMCO SCX drives , prediction is 110-113 range Hopefully. Hes over 200K so far in engines drives and transom assembly's. Should be completed in a few weeks.

What year and any pics of his project/upgrades

I know its a 1999 model year

Nice, that was a boat out of MI a few years back.

Yeah he bought it there in November of 2021

These are the pics of the original set up , Ill get pics of the new rigging soon, Had to shorten the center engines driveshaft and move it back about 5 inchs so it would clear with the Whipple on it. Also had to put in new larger fuel lines and relocate throttle cables. Hopefully its ready in a couple more weeks.

Looks like she is taking a good set! But the poor bottom of the boat needs a good scrub.....

They had it out running tests and tuning it , needed additional water pickups the engines were running hot when it got up to around 85mph , so once new water pickups are on its back to testing

It's at our shop now for the intercooler plumbing updates. Awesome, awesome rig. While doing the fuel maps last week we were hitting 85mph with a LOT of throttle left.

That was sure quite a bit of work and upgrades. Were you guys able to get it finished and dialed in before the end of the season.

Any updates on this one. Curious to know how everything turned out.

very close to being completed there is a few odds and ends that they are finishing up the owner told me it was up to 103 without the new props he supposed to be picking it up very soon hopefully this week.

Running low 100s, 105 on its best day. The DDS lowers took a little speed. Spinning labbed 32s with 1.34 gears
