43 Cabin Couch Question

How do I remove the couch backs on an early 43? I feel like a fool because I cannot figure it out....

There are probably some screws that are covered up by either carpet, or other pieces of white vinyl covering.

i finally figured out how to get mine off. You have to remove the light panel above the couches and then a few wood trim pieces that are screwed in. Once they're out you'll see 10 or so 3/8" nuts. Remove those and the couch back insert will come out - but only the insert not the whole back. The backs are actually fiberglassed right into the side of the hull. The only way they're coming out is of you cut the fiberglass out. Not sure why they permanently mounted them . . .

Turns out that it was glassed in with 0 way to remove without cutting it out.... I somehow got a hold of Bob Jenkins (Great Guy that took time out of his day to talk old boats with me) He had sad that they never thought about the cabin seats coming back out because they had used top quality materials.
