Default Anyone know this BT for sale in OK? Survey, gel repair

I am planning a trip to go see the below boat in OK. The current owner has rebuild sheets on motors and openly told me that someone came to look at it last week and believes there was a soft spot in the transom. A few questions here.

1) anyone know the boat or history. If you need to PM me that’s fine.
2) who would you recommend for a marine survey that could look over the hull? Have a hard time finding someone in OK
3) if the transom needs to be replaced what’s the cost? I have heard 6-8k on the forums before if no other stringer work had to be fine.
4) thinking if it works I should drag it to ozarks for transom repair. Who would you all suggest?
5) 1999 43 with 500’s so I’m assuming around 19k on trailer? Hoping to get mid 70’s and dependable.

As far as a survey, I would look no further than BUP here on OSO. He is based in the Dallas TX area.
Good Luck

Fuelin.... if that BT is on El Dorado, I’d be willing to go once over it with you. That’s not too terribly far. Let us know if you decide to make a move on it.

I could do the inspections and testing. I would also want the engine serial numbers and HIN of the hull beforehand. Need to know if the set up is stock or how is it set up from a NON OEM stock app. It looks to be a twin engine app - Side by side according to the length of the sun pad / engine hatch in the pic.

As far as the transom work.......some things can really effect the cost..... if you can pull the hatch, the engines and derig /rerig it yourself, you will save a lot of money, a LOT of money. If you can do everything but the glasswork, you can easily cut the cost of a transom job in half if not more on a twin engine boat. But then again, if you have the skills and facilities to do that, the glass work isnt really out of your reach. you wont do it nearly as fast or as pretty as a good glass guy, but it can be done.
