We got called out for a gasoline spill cleanup once. When we got there the guy had stuck the fuel nozzle in the rod holder and pumped 100 gallons of 87 in the bilge.

You can preach all the safety you want to but its hard to fix stupid.

I must admit... when i was twelve i did the exact same thing on the neighbors boat when he tasked me with filling up the tanks at the dock. Pumped in maybe 5 gallons or so. He had me pouring buckets of water into the bilge for hours
