I've seen that one before pretty wicked wipeout, to bad the camera man let him stay in the water for 10 min out cold

Pretty jackass move on his part trying something like that.

Wonder if the guy got back on the horse and jumping again,or learned his lesson

Like going to a gun fight with a knife. Wrong equipment for the job.

i would say that leaving him in the water as actually the best thing until trained help arrived. i know from working ski patrol at the local ski hill in the winter time that you never move a person with head or back injuries until you have a means of stabilizing him i.e a backboard to strap him to and C-collar for his neck
