My wife and I will be staying in Miami Beach June 11th - 13th after a cruise and would love to check out the local watering holes where the high performance boats hang out, can anyone point us in the right direction? I'm thinking Sunday (the 12th) should be a great day to see some awesome boats.

Unfortunately I can't tell you much about the waterside spots as my OSO brothers from Miami have never taken me out !!!!...ok maybe one.
The Miami Beach Marina is beautiful and has tons of stuff to see and also has a couple of really nice places to eat and have a nice time.

I like to visit Haulover Park also. Im sure some of the Miami locals on OSO will chime in.
Wish I could meet you there I will be in Jupiter and Boca and FLL April 1-3 looking at possible neighborhoods for a near futre move.
Have Fun and have a Mojito for me at Mangos!!!

[QUOTE=P5-14;3357511]Thanks for the tips man, we'll check them out! As for Mangos, we've been there before - great spot all night long with lots of hotties dancing on the bar! She's cool with that - in small doses...haha. Yea, just looking for a casual "hooters" like place on the water where it gets crazy on Sunday's and the boats dock up close to the patio. I've done some research but some of the places are closed so I'd rather not waste a lot of time running around looking for the best place.
LOL.. Mangos Aye Pappi Que Rico.....
no problem, I think you will really like Monty's at the Miami Beach Marina on Alton Rd. I have some picts Ill post when I get home, soo u can get an idea.

Theres also Smith & Wollensky Steak House on premises all the way at the end.
Lots of really nice boats, sites etc...top notch place. The city of Miami apparently just spent $$$$$$$$$ on the area and it shows, you can also walk to the end and watch the cruise ships and other boats go out of Govt Cut.
Very cool spot
Haulover is ok but you will be lookn at the boat ramp.. go to Montys at the Miami Beach marina youll love it, theres also Joe's Stone Crab right across the street.

I'm probably going to be moving to Miami in the next year and will be living in an apartment on the island on JFK causeway. What is the traffic on the Bay like and is there a good presence of Game Wardens and other water capable LEO's to take care of the knuckleheads? Thank you.
