Kill switch/tether recommendations
I'm assuming my boat was not built with them and would like to add them before the next run. Is it better to have 2 separate switches or do they make one for twins with a single tether? Any recommendations, advice? Thanks

$10-$100, lots of them out there. Get one for each engine

I just installed 2 on my boat. I got them off amazon. I started a thread under do it yourself and there is a link on there for a single tether dual engines.

They make one for twin engines which I recommend. I didn't want two more holes in my dash and then theres the issue of two teathers. I have mine down low on the dash and have a velcro band that I wear around my ankle.

I had one go bad on my last boat, so in the name of getting out on the water on a Saturday morning, I ran to Academy sports and bout one off the shelf. Just FYI to anyone in the same situation, they are wired backwards. Cl.osed with the tether attached, the motor wouldn't start. With it in the open engaged position, it would. Returned it, got another, same situation. I ended up taking it apart and rewiring it correctly. Not sure if it was jut a bad batch or not, just thought I'd pass that on.....
