Ed, here is a link to Wyndham's Nassau website: http://www.wyndham.com Click on " things to do " and there are a whole host of things that will keep you busy. Lots of history and things of interest in Nassau. The hotel is on Cable Beach which is very nice but you will find the water cool to swim in at this time of year. Weather and temps will be much like Florida. Be sure to go over to Paradise Island and check out the Atlantis.

Enjoy,

Bob

well the trip was pretty nice i would definately go back the weather didnt cooperate for us though a lot of clouds and it rained most of the night on thursday and the wind picked up big time so that screwed up the powerboat adventures trip on friday and then they cancelled again on saturday so i guess i will just have to go back and try again the locals are very friendly and polite met a couple that owns one of the tiki hut bars ( island philosophy ) along the beach and hung out with them 3 different evenings we ended up going to a local bar with them and threw some darts and drank a few drinks had a real good time the island in general is a little expensive but considering they have to have everything shipped in not that big of a deal like i said i will be going back

some of the reviews for the resort were pretty bad before we went but i think those people were some of them that you couldnt make happy if you gave them a million dollars i was happy with the room wyndham is an older building but i though it was clean and would go back there again they are in the process of building a new hotel but that wont be done until late 2014 the black angus grill at the crystal palace casino has awesome steaks we ate there twice in 4 nights LOL

Thanks, Ed. That is a shame the weather did not co operate for you. Being out on those beautiful Bahama Banks is hard to beat. Next time hopefully you will.

Also glad to hear. I really like the laid back attitude of the Bahamians

Too funny. Here is a good example of "stopped". LOL Fuel attendant at a marina in Nassau Harbor.
