Bimini
Hello,
I'm new but I think I've found my calling. I don't fish, but I love the water and want a boat. so i think speed it is. Anyway, I'm in Miami, and I DJ in Bimini often, at the Sakara beach club. Therefore, I'm always thinking of the best/cheapest/fastest way to get there. My first thought would be a catamaran but there's no..'stabbin cabin' as a friend of mine put it. A 38 scarab looks right on the money.
Can someone fill me in on dangers (high seas), fuel burn rate, do you get pulled over by the coast guard as often as the first three months I owned my audi? that kind of thing.
AND..if someone wants to jet me over to bimini at 45mph..or faster, so i can see how this works.....perhaps we can work out an arrangement. I'm going for memorial day weekend, but I go often.
and as far as my boating experience. I sail. prams.
thanks
