Non-Air Travel from US to port near Cancun Mexico
 

I know this is an odd question but... Does anyone know of any options to travel from the US to a port near Cancun Mexico by boat? My brother is getting married there and I don't fly but would really like to attend. I am open to any option but am really have trouble finding any options other than air. I'd be happy to travel by freighter, private yacht/boat, ferry, or any other option out there and am flexible with my schedule as long as I am there for the couple days around the wedding.

Any suggestions???? Help?!?!?

Michigan to Cancun without flying is a hell of a long trip. There are cruises to cancun from several ports in the gulf. I think I would look into a heavy dose of lexapro or something to knock the edge off and jump on a plane. LOL
