British Virgin Islands
My wife and i are wanting to go to the BVI for our honeymoon, hard to get info on how it is after the storm... anyone with insider info? Who is renting boats out there?

We did a bareback cat for a week end of Feb the year after the storm and the damage was unreal. there were 4 couples on the 48' or so boat.
I have heard that things are a lot better now. Even when we were there- there were Lots of things to see and do. We had a Blast. They have some smaller boats w 2 and 3 cabins too. If you are thinking about it- Do It - You will not be disappointed. |

Come on down
Place is pretty much back to normal for the most part

You have to rent a power cat and see the islands that way. Do not go down there and stay in a hotel. All of the islands are very close and short hops from one another, so it is pretty easy to get around, but like i said, dont rent a center console for day trips and think you are going to get the whole experience.

I’ve been years before , stayed on VG ... was thinking we would do that too. I’d like to island hop a couple places. What is the situation with renting a boat? Can you drive the thing wherever you want ? Need a captain ?

We bareboated -No captain- Just get some good charts. Most of it is very easy navigating.

Yeah bareboat with no captain. Check out the powercats that the Moorings has for charter.
