I looked real hard at the ss8m in boattrader. I like the lines and I probobly would of got it if it had twins. This one had twins, but needed too much work.

Is there any info on this boat. I'm looking for a project.

I'll try and dig up the contact info. Last I recall it was listed for $22,500 and the guy wanted to make a deal - that was back in August. I doubt it was sold. It has brand new interior and the engines were recently replaced (jasper) along with new exhaust. The condition of the outdrives is what scared me. The guy sent me pictures via mail. He took a pic of the outdrives from a bout 50ft away and didn't even bother with the engines - so I figured it needed a lot of work.

Here is the other one I was talking about - http://www.boattraderonline.com/cadd...3/90324423.htm

I'm pretty sure this one does not need anything. Mint condition with a rebuilt 454 upgraded for supercharger. Even at 450hp the owner said it would only go around 60mph.

If I'm not mistaken, this boat sold on EBay several weeks back. I was thinking about it too. Bid up to around 21k. It was located in Conn. Don't know if the deal went through because as you can see its still on BoatTrader.

Here is a SS-7M that was on Lake St Clair back in the 80's, today ??? One of the few 24' boats that could run in any water on this lake.

JERSEY DEVIL 10-14-2007 08:35 AM

the 24 seems to like it rough just hang on and let let it go. lot of fun.

I can't find the phone number, but the pics he sent came from:

Aqua Marina
55 Hudson Ave
Freeport, NY 11520

Found a website http://www.aquamarinaworldwide.com/

I don't know if it sold or not, but it was on boattrader and now its not.

Carrera ss8m

Hi guys-
I bought the Carrera you were talking about in thread #10 and #12 that was for sale in Ct. It is a great boat. I was considering a Baja 24 Outlaw ,but this boat handles rough water waaaay better. I got lucky because the boat happened to be 1 town away! Ive used the hell out of it with never a problem. I would highly recommend this model to anyone!

Carrera SS7M

H20 Boater has a good picture of my 24 Carrera! I just sold it to Cincinnati today...A very SAD day for me. So many memories of Lake St. Clair and hanging with all the fast boats...

paston1 04-06-2009 12:51 PM

I am now the proud owner of the Carrera picture on lake St Clair. To the previous owner Thank You very much!!! We smiled all the way home, and have started ordering parts to bring it back to life. It is a dream come true to own a piece of Power Boating history. We will post pics of the restoration as we go.
