84 steering hub/wheel
 

has anyone replace the steering wheel and hub on a mid 80s check? i removed the wheel (3 spoke with three bolts) and the spokes did not connect in the center. instead, each spoke at the end had a bolt that went through into the hub and the hub had three indentures that went from the center out, where the spokes would fit in to bolt. also, the hub fits over i believe a 6 sided shaft and then was twisted with force bending the shaft to keep the hub on. does anyone else have steering set up liek this as i have never seen a set up like this, and would like to change the hub/wheel out for a new white momo. thanks
