Trailer Restoration

Has anyone restored their trailer? Our Heritage trailer has spent the last 4 summers baking in the sun without a boat on it and needs a little freshening. The trailer is a 2000 model and was purchased with the boat in 2002 for $3500.

Re: Trailer Restoration

Rob, Heritage used to offer a refresh service. I have to call them this week to order a new light bar (mine decided to take a swim on Friday) so I will ask them about it and let you know. They may have other sources they recommend if they no longer deal with restorations.

Jeff,
If they still provide that service or recommend another party please let me know.

Rob, call Heritage at 618-439-9626. They do still offer a trailer refresh service. They ballparked $1,500 - $1,600 to sandblast and repaint a trailer of your size. That assumes all the old parts such as brakes, bunks, lights, etc. are reusable. Prices go up accordingly based on additional parts that need to be replaced and the associated labor costs.

Thanks Jeff, the pricing seems reasonable. After reviewing the financials I have decided to roll with what we have for a few years.:evilb:
