checkmate maxxum
my dad has a zt 280, its got a brand new 502 mag in it, took it out yesterday and only got 61mph out of it running at 4300 rpms but should go 67mph at 4600-4700rpms. Any suggestions on what could be wrong, i thought maybe a differrent prop

Need to know the prop on it now and drive ratio. Then can decide if you are over-propped or if engine is down on power.

are you trimming up? its a stupid question but trimmed all the way down and thats excactly what mine does
