Anyone Looking

We are considering selling our boat. We have a 2000 Convincor 259 w/ a 454MAG. The boat has IMCO full hydraulic steering and a Tyler Crockett engine upgrade. My wife and I purchased the boat new and have taken good care of it. Anyone looking???:party-smiley-004:

Beadman,
I am not sure how much we will use it over the next few years. Just a thought for now.

The boat runs good. The best top speed on our local lake is 72mph (GPS) by myself. The boat ran 72mph (GPS) w/ Tyler as a passenger after the upgrade on Lake Huron. Both of these runs had a B1 26 labbed prop. The current prop on the boat is a 24 Hydromotive running about 69mph (GPS) in most water conditions. The 24 Hydromotive seems to be a better overall handling prop for this boat in my opinon. The upgrade consists of a different cam, stainless marine exhaust, new valvetrain, milled heads (increase in compression), upgraded fuel system and a high flow flame arrestor. Tyler claims 90HP with the kit. We have dyno sheets with 461HP at 5100RPM and 514lbs/tq at 3800RPM. I do not think we would take less than 40K for this boat.

Hello Rob,

Wow, that must have been a tough decision. I know you take care of your equipment, so whoever gets it will get a good ride. Good luck with the decision.

Thanks Vinny. I am not sure if we are going to sell the boat or not. It is kind of ironic that we just paid the boat off and now are thinking of selling it. I am afraid if we do sell it we will be out of boating for permanently. That sucks.:hitfan:
