Hull vs Complete boat

What is the opinion with sellling an older boat (87' 251 convinsor) as just a hull vs a complete boat? In todays market would it be any easier to sell the hull only and keep my motor? Then sell off the parts on ebay? Just a thought, I have had my boat for sale last year, if I keep the motor I could use it in another project ( 600 plus hp bbc ). Has anyone had any luck that way?

You're not going to get much for the hull on it's own, but it will sell if you're price vs. condition/accessories is sweet.

Do you have any pics? I bought my ride without power, but that's the way I wanted it.:cool-smiley-011:
