speedo or GPS? very curious because with my boat I'm seeing just a touch over 60 with a 23P rev 4 and another mile or 2 more with a 25P mirage plus. GPS, speedo is about 5 higher but thats good for telling everyone speeds when they ask

2001 checkmate zt280 496ho bravo 1 24 and I've seen 68.2 with just me and a half tank. Full tank and a passenger and it runs 65ish. Needs bow lift I might send the prop out to get worked.

What's a typical 98 251 w/502 MAG rated at 430hp run normally?

Default 30 foot checkmate twin 800 hp

I’m restoring a 30 foot checkmate 1988 vintage & putting twin 632 ci 800 hp engines in it.
Wondering what I might get for top speed?

I would say the boat should run in the high 90's with 1600 HP. I hope you have hydraulic steering!

If your setup is good I think you'll be over 100. My old 30 was over 100 at 1300 hp.
