I have the Bennett tabs on my boat. Figured I'd run 'em until they gave me any issues and then possibly upgrade to those Victory's. I was told LOTO will bend Bennett's. No problem yet in one season, but I'm probably being pretty nice to them.

Do you have K-planes?

Here's a shot of the boat at rest at LOTO over Memorial Day Weekend:

Nice shot - not much water clearance to the pipes - do you run flappers? I picked up some Corsa mufflers which will stick out even further, so I think I'll haf to run flappers.

Yup - I have K-Planes that came with the boat, along with the Bravos - all untested by me yet - I can't post pics here anymore - you'll need to see http://forums.boatfreaks.org//vbgara...o=view&id=3610

Nice ride! Looks really clean. How much hp are you getting out of the motors now?

No flappers. I have the Corsa Quick-n-Quiet set-up and, FWIW, when I come off plane, I'll often switch the exhaust through the drives or I'll come off plane gradually to keep the water from rushing up into the pipes.

I'm having some fluid leak down the transom from my Bennett trim tabs. I need to look into that, too.

Bought her without engines - building them in my spare time this year, so we should keep in touch...

My Boat is a 259 Convincor
-468 cid 8:1 compr
-FAST engine management with 60 lb/hr injectors
-Whipple making 3psi
-Mild hydraulic roller 224/236 @ .050 .594/.600 lift
-CMI sport tube lites
-Stainless valves in stock Mag heads with the bowls blended
-MSD distributor and 6AL
-Aermotive fuel pump and regulator with -8 supply
-Bravo 1 with Bravo 4 blade 28p reworked to a 27p

With just me on board and a full tank of fuel I get 75 MPH out of it on the GPS and it is turning 4900. I am gonna try a 26P 4 blade to try to get a lil closer to 80 mph with some more tuning.
