253 Convincer 500hp Speed?
 

1998 Checkmate Convincer with the Blue Merc 500hp Motor spinning a 24p 4 blade Bravo Prop..

What top speed should I see??

low 70's, convincors seemed to really like hydromotive props. Do a search on this forum and you will find the answer you are looking for.

72 - 73. like said above, try a hydro Q4.

I'm running about 500 horse in my 251 and I'm running 71-72 mph with a 26 Bravo 1. I've tried Hydromotives, they're good but I seem to like the Bravo 1 better on my boat. I did like the solid hubs of the Hydro's because I'm cracking the flow torque hub kits.

should see 70mph, with the 24p you would be running at about 5300rpm's,(thats with 12% slip)... and a 1.5 ratio drive.

Light load with a 24p 4 blade it pulled about 74mph on GPS and speedo showed higher... Right about 5150 or 5200 rpm Range..
