Default Biggest Checkmate

I saw a Checkmate on the St. Croix River in Hudson, WI yesterday called Traveler's Check. It looked bigger than 30'. It looked like a 35' to me. It had a fairly large windshield like a Powerquest. Not including the new 350 ZT, I wasn't aware of any Checkmate boats this big built in say the last 10 to 15 years. What is it?

They used to make a ZT 330. Same style as the ZT 260, 280

bro,

you would hate that boat with a single. It would be very challenging to drive in close proximity areas. My 28' was a handful at times, the wind loved to take big bow and push it around!

yea, its almost like bow thrusters would help. i just love the idea of a huge single in a 30 footer

I hear ya, Sunsation did a handful on 32's with singles. A couple actually run really well with big power. Just around the docks would be ugly. Once you get a boat with twins you won't want to go back. The only thing that sucks is the bill at the gas pump

I have a 330ZT, its a pretty big boat. had it next to a baja 33sst, and it appeared slightly larger. I love the boat, but a single engine youd hate it. Its definately quite a handful at speed tho. loves to chine walk, but moves real well. Had 3blades on it, went to a 4 blade, and have more control at cruise and higher. And docking regardless is a pain just due to design. it doesnt really go where ya want to to at idle. takes getting used to.

yea, i figured on a single 30-33 would not be easy. thats allot of bow to try to swing in the wind or current.
i just love the idea of a big single. not even sure why. lol
