noting but stringers and bulkheads. its fiberglased and coated very nicely tho. i built a false floor with storage under it for the cushions. it runs all the way up to where the keel rises up above the stringers. it mad ea nice lil chill out spot and withthe 19x19 bomar hatch it should get at leaset a lil ventilation.

how high are your engines in relation to the bottom of the boat. Brett at blades suggested raising the motors up some on my boat to reduce bow leverage. my engines are on the lowest setting on the bracket putting the prop shafts dead even withthe bottom of theboat withthe tips of the sportmasters 29 inches from the transom. also...my props are turning in...he also suggested that i turn them out to get less bow lift and more transom lift....

Boat will handle better with props turning out. With the amount of setback you have, raising the motors may help handling and increase top end speed. Watch your water pressure readings. More seat time will give you more answers..

with your concern about having to much bow lift, and all that extra space in the front why not put a balast tank up there like the race guys do..or for the time being, throw some 50 pound sand bags up there, I know its adding weight..but its adding weight in the right places..kinda like setting up a race car with the moving the weight around to get the balance right..and then if you find this is better, you could almost move your batteries up to the bow of the boat, instead of a ballast tank..

I have been thinking of doing this with my baja. It has a fully gutted cabin too. And boat has been lightented up alot. So it rides bow high all the time..but I use the tabs alot. But if I throw 100 pounds in the bow it will maybe keep the bow in the water more. Its awesome for all out speed..but not the best set up rough water..
