Anyone know the steering cable length for this boat. Broke mine this weekend.

Don't know the length, but look a t the cable closely, usually it is stamped into it near one of the ends, it is part of the part #, like the last 2 digits or something like that......

Here is something I found on e-how.......


Read the part number stamped on the control cable's plastic jacket. The cable length is coded within the part number. A typical Teleflex part number is CC???XX with XX stating the cable length in feet.

Cable had 14' 6" stamped in it. Put a 15' rotary helm and cable in her last night. Tight fit but it's all good now.

Wanted to get her done fast for the weekend. They had this system on the shelf. Maybe down the road but I doubt it.

Cable should be fine with that power, now if ya go to a 200+ I would look into hydraulic.
