85 24 enforcer. any thoughts?

judging by the specs, they tried to find the halfway point between 24-7's (6-1/2 beam) and 8-1/2 foot beam standard boats. any idea how they turned out, as far as speed, ride and durability are concerned?

The 24' Enforcer is a great hull. They were built as I/O, single outboard and twin outboard configurations. The hull was also sucessfully raced. In fact, the new Checkmate Pulsare 2400 is based off the old 24' Enforcer hull. There have been quite a few new Pulsare 2400's rigged with single 300xs and run into the low to mid 70's.

I had a '93 230 Enforcer.. Not sure if it's the same hull or not but I ran the snot out of that boat and NEVER had an issue.

Bit of a handfull at speed and hard to keep ON the water at times but F U N ! !

Just not up to running lake erie. Deadrise not steep enough.

What is the dead rise? Does it have a pad? Thanks

I had one for a few years back in 1990,ran the snot out of it in the ocean and got wet quite a few times but then again I was 20 years old and didn't mind the pounding.

Bought my Enforcer new in 1986.Raced it in APBA. Not an open water race hull but had fun. The gel was hard to keep shine and before I beat the sh=t out of it the deck would stress crack if you looked at it the wrong way.Beautiful boat but more for calm water. The 25 was a nicer offshore hull. Running in 3to4 following seas the bow would stuff a couple of feet under the surface and when I would look up it was like being in a bubble and it would always resurface. Have to love Lake Erie or not!

24' Enforcer runs a deadrise of 22 degrees. My Pulsare 2400 Bowrider with a Mercury Verado 300 Pro runs a nip over 70 mph GPS.
