220 Checkmate
 

Hey guys, I am looking at a 220 Checkmate Convincor and had a couple of questions. This is a 99 with the 7.4 MPI. My question is how well does this boat perform with this motor?? Is the hull 24 degree deadrise?? This boat looks perfect and the guy needs to get rid of it. Does anyone no how fast this boat should be? He told me 63-64 but did not say if that was gps. Any information would be very helpfull, Thanks!!!

While the 7.4 MPI motor is a good piece, you must remember that the bottom end is cast . If your intentions are to modify this motor , you may be better off just getting another complete piece.

That sounds about right jtb, I have a A 99 zt240 with
the 310 mpi and it does about 59.99999 gps damit,
can never seem to get that 6 as the first number hehe.
But anyway......the over all length on my boat is 24'3"vs
22 ft so ...it should hit the low 60's
