It's wintertime, for most of us that is. Whenever I visit this forum, I can almost hear crickets. Lets see get some action in the C-mate section. Let's see some pics.... In the water, on the trailer, motor(s).....whatever you have. Also include a little info. Power, speed, year, prop etc, and whatever you'd like to add.

1989 251 Convincor. 548hp 502, 72mph with a 23 Hydromotive.

Here is one of my '99 259 Convincor. At the time it had a stock 454 Magnum MPI. I would get 67 on GPS, spinning a labbed 26" Bravo 1.

Close, only 3 1/2.

The Whipple's added a lot more height to the engines than I was lead to believe. I was told they added two inches to the height. Later I found out that's on the 502 engines. The 454's get more like six. :eek: It took a bit of thought but it worked out.

'98 283 Convincor, twin 7.4.
63.4mph on GPS spinning 22p Hydromotive QIV hitting the rev limiter. I have the ride figured out this year now it is time for some speed. Back to throttle up for some tuning :D

Not really. I bought this boat because the Check was too fast & too big for my wife. Sometimes you have to compromise.

Where did that flame arrestor come from? Nice job.

Hey Dave,

I haven't seen you around for a while. I dropped you an e-mail yesterday. The flame arrester is a Keith Eickert. I got it from Too Old, Trick Marine from OSO. A local painter did the air brush work for me.

Best run was 82mph on speedo. Lately, around 78 to 80.
My props could use some tuning up... ;)
