sorry FundRazor, ya got compitition out there :D . i just listed my boat in the OSO classifieds and it will be going in traderonline as soon as it comes out for the season. boats gotta go cuz my driveway isnt big enough for this one and the one thats replacing it. :drink:

Hey whatever.

I took mine off of the market. Got some tire kickers... people who wanted to steal it.

I am gonna keep it and splash it in the spring with a sign on it. Somebody will buy it then. They aren't gonna buy it online off season unless I give it away, no thanks. I didn't put all that time and money into it to give it away for free.

And there is no pressure of a new boat.

Can't see what you bought.
Didn't renew. Moved up the food chain at work and have been too busy for OSO. But whatever it is... good luck with it. Hope to see it in the spring.

actually Jon, i am not hopeing for much action. i know its a tuff time to move anything. i do have a buyer but he wont be ready with $$$ till jan first, just to be safe i am gonna try to move this thing anyway i can in the mean time. :cool:

thats a fiend of mines 30ft Sleekcraft. pretty cool boat, i think its a 1981 or so. he has spent a lot of time restoring it. big blocks and bravos does high 60's pretty easy. cool boat an a rocket out of the hole :drink: :cool:

Dave, the funniest thing happened.

Ernie hijacked my thread about my very clean 1987 Chris Craft Stinger 260 with a really nice interior and many extras including a really sweet stereo and a luxurious cabin with a post about your boat, which is also for sale.

See, this guy was interested in my very clean, designer series model with the extremely cool wrap around windshield design (not the basic two pane glass like on some older Scorpions) and I was out of town so Ernie recommended that he might like to buy your older styled Scorpion that you are selling instead of my newer style Stinger that I am selling.
(For about the same amount of money.)

I thought it was pretty funny. :D

well Jon, an i really do apologize for this if i took it all the wrong way, but you brought info about your boat into my thread and at the same time slamed my "old style scorpion". i honestly dont think my reply was any less funny (or backhanded and i will aleast admit mine was) than yours. i do agree the post from ernie was probably out of place in your thread but you took it up with me. i also believe he mentioned it because he thought yours was off the market, not because you were out of town. i will remove my post because some of it could be taken the wrong way by anyone considering your boat. :cool:

LOL . . somebody once told me us stinger guys hafta stick together, :D even if i'm trying to be an X stinger owner. im not kid'n ya about one thing though . i am having huge remorse an it aint even sold yet. this boat has proven itself to me again and again. its actually all the boat i would ever need but unfortunatly this sport is a sickness that leads to bigger boats an its time to let go :( an move up. i'll take ya up on that been sometime, talk about the good 'ol days :drink: . like i said sorry if i took it the wrong way, later man.

I know what you mean about seller's remorse.
Now that I have the bugs out of mine (for now) I am seriously considering keeping it.
I like to RUN the boat, (not sleep in it.) so getting more boat (like a 311, I always wanted a 311....) with more cabin really won't change my boating lifestyle. It will just get me a few more mphs and a bunch more gas receipts. Well, and of course I will look cooler... but a couple gold chains would do that. :D

Might buy a bigger truck instead of a bigger boat and trailer it more. Leave it in the water less.

We'll see. Things are going well at work.
It will be hard to stay poor for long. :D
