Need info on Stinger 375/0S ???????
 

Have a chance to buy a nice one. What model is this. Owner says its 38 foot ! Has anyone heard of this model,He said it's a rare boat i don't know. Are they good boats or what. I have a 88 chris craft sport fish and i like the quality. Also have a 202 1988 stinger.I just don't wanna buy a black sheep of the Chris Craft family just cause it's a good deal. Any input would be helpful. Does any one even own one? THANKS JOHN

We bought a 1988 375 stinger new, and sold it 2 years ago. It was a well built boat, had been sunk held up great, and they still look like a modern boat design even at almost two decades old. Ours ran 57-58 with twin 450hp bbc and bravos. They are very roomy inside the cabin, and have a good layout for weekending. They are not meant to go fast, and the interior cabin probably would not hold up anyways. The latches, hinges, doors, etc were nice for cruising, but at over 50, if you hit any sized wake there were a few problem doors that would tend to release. Some people do not like the fact that it does not have the windshield like other stingers, as you have to wear glasses in the boat at any speed. As a guide, we sold it for around 40, with 5 year old very clean interior, 2 year old paint, new gauges, and under 100 hours on completely rebult 450hp 454s. Hope it helps with your possible purchase.

I supposedly bought the last one being built in 1988. I cruise narragansett bay, block Island sound and over to Marthas Vineyard numerous times..

Handles rough water very well. As others have posted it isn't a serious go fast boat but very comfortable cruiser at 50 to 55 knots...

Blows by most boats on the bay until someone in a fountain goes blowing by you then brings you back to reality real fast...

mine has a small windscreen about 6 inches high.. I thought they all had that
