Re: my 390 scorpion
No, don't get rid of the arch - I love the look of the arch, especially when it is 'backwords' like that! Sweet looking boat - but is is a scorpian or stinger?

Re: my 390 scorpion
What kind of speed do you see with those blower motors?
|
Re: my 390 scorpion
I would have to say low 70's that is a big boat!!
Very nice one too! |
Re: my 390 scorpion
It still hits the low 70's was pushing just about the 80 mark on gps when I was still running 110 octane. toned it down to run with pump gas since it is very diff to get anything over 89 at the marinas. It is a blast and the Blow motors could be for sale if anyone is looking

Re: my 390 scorpion
I had blowers on mine when I bought it. I wish I kept them. Really consider that before you pull them out. I made a huge mistake removing mine. I should have run them until they blew. Mine were pushing nearly 1000 HP each with 11-71 blowers with 110 octane. (850 reported hp on pump gas) At max HP my old heavy stinger hit nearly 100. Now with my stock Merc 454 mags I would really like to touch 60 once, but I don't think I will. 58 is the best I had.....I think you will like your boat a whole lot more the way it is.
