looking to buy '87 stinger 390
how do i check for stringer damage and transom rot? i hear these are notorious for this but not sure how to check it? anything else i should look for?

You should be able to see stringer danaged areas, transom rot can be detected by tapping the transom with a metal object such as a pocket knife, a thud sound would indicate rot.

does anyone have any info on where to find parts for these the stinger 390's? This one i'm lookling at was an old DEA boat. The hull and motors/drives are all good but it is stripped down with nothing in the cabin. It is in rough shape but restorable if I had the parts. needs a radar arch and alot of other misc stuff. let me know asap. thanks
