I wonder how many of these Chris Craft 8 Metre are left, they were made around 1975. I remember two that raced on Lake St Clair back than, it's style was ahead of it's time. With small block 350 chevy power and Volvo drives they ran around 55 to 60 mph.

I have an in tact 8 meter, which was made at the mid point of the production of 35 hulls...let me know if you have any additional info....Powerboat rated this boat in 74...i have the issue smoewhere.

I know there won't be any more of them made. I owned the mold at one time. It was destroyed.

I am since a couple of years owner of the boat in #3.
Seams to be the ony one in Europe. Are there any more 8M up and running or are most under restoraion or disapered?
