new to the bord with 260
hello everyone first post i have a 260 for around 10 years and love it i wil try to post some pic's if i can figure it out mine has the arch on the back i havent seen any pics with 260's with the arch was that a stiling option for 1984?? i have twinn 355's forged flat tops comp 268h cams weiand highrise Q jets turrning spanelli 21 clever stile props i have had 64 mph at around 4200 to 4400 rpm but not gps just the stock speedo

thanks mate nice looking 222 must be fun having that boat over there.the. wife spent 13 months in brizbane working on the boeing wegetail 737, i had a nice 2 week vaction in the mariott right on the river and road the city cat up and down the river stoping all along drinking pints of cold beer!! shure is lots of good looking girls there WOW!! my neck still hirts ( the wife was working so i had no wories ) i am working on pic's cheers Greg

I also own a 260 but mine has a home made radar arch on it that I built for just under thirty bucks.(The marina wanted a thousand bucks for a stainless one!!!)
My friend Chris used to own a 260 years ago and his had the factory arch on it. It was a red boat and I saw the picture in his hallway of his house. I will see if I can get a jpg of it from him and post it here.
Meanwhile, here is a couple of pics of my 260

arch is far back
I thought so too when I purchased this boat but i did alittle searching and found another 1983 red and black colored boat that had identical rear mounting....i guess this is how it was offered that yr? anyone know for sure?...this boat has twin 383 strokers with 850 double pumper holleys...clever props...i get just under 60mph gps

my 84 260 has the arch that far back but i have a wood swimm step?? my arch is alumunmis yours the same?? i was told the glass swim step was on the 85 model
