1986 311 - Beginning restoration
 

Hi all. I'm new to this forum. Just bought a 1986 311 w/ outboards for cruising around the Caribbean. Before I can do any cruising, I have to restore the boat. I have rotten transom and stringers, and have already removed them. Do any of you guys have any pointers for me on the process.

There is plenty of support and knowledge, not to mention experience on here about just about everything. I'm not one of them, but I'm sure people will chime in and help out.

Additionally, the site has a good 'search' function. Type in 'Transom Rot' or something and you'll see what I mean about cases similar to yours.
