It's crazy.......the more weight I put in the rear seats the faster it goes. Hardly any hop at all.

Timmy as soon as I get some free time I will get you the pics and video we got from this weekend. It was great to get together and looking forward to the next time. And for anyone wondering.........the Chris Cat was hauling the mail, Looks as good or better than a new boat. We ran side by side for quite a while and as I was watching it run saying to myself "I wish I had kept it" Lol. Last but not least the man can fly the hell out of a helicopter. If you want to learn how to fly, Timmy is your guy.

Do your drives have the 2 inch spacers in them? Mine do. I get on plane real quick when I trim in. 475 HP a side spinning 28 inch props I run 83 at 5400 rpm. I have a set of 29's also.

No spacers, I'm running my propshafts level with the bottom of boat. I'm gonna need a set of 31" props. Have any ideas where I might find some?

wannabe 10-09-2013 05:48 PM

Carolina- One of the vendors on here has some 17 x 31 3blades that you should be able to get reworked to 16.5 and should fit the 2's . Check in the propellors sections. It's not Cobra- chk them any way.

Edit: I am about 2 inch below - but get on plane real easy. Apparen3tly before the spacers were added it was tough to get the boat on plane.

Any updates on those 31 props? How fast did you get it to run?

He speaks the truth. I listened very carefully to Sparky Olsen when it came to the tunnel tab. I believe I have a sketch of what Sparky and I talked about for my cat. Nothing more than tunnel extension. Nothing that would be used for preventing or eliminating anything to do with the HOP.
