T rr is right on the Alphas if you run it real hard or in rough water. Should be fine for regular use.

Tandem is fine. Is it in good shape? Rusty? Brakes maintained and in working condition? When was the last service done on bearings and seals?

Default 312 fitti

I own a,1988 312 fitti. its been a great boat ,handles rough water well.got about 65/70 mph with 454 and bravo 1 swinging 23" ss props
I had some water leaks around the rub rail and windshield base. added a tube type swim platform( the orig is to small)
check with chriscraft stingers.com. Hans has all the info on these boats and a fantastic web page. I found out mine was #5 out of 11 made that year
