BUMP this thread. I would also like to know how rare these boats were. My buddy has one. In 81 it was kinda rare to see boats with stags in them...

To be honest this is the very first "Stinger" I have ever seen with staggered engines!
Of course Fountain, Cigarette and Profile (to just name a few) all make staggered versions.

My friend has a 40 Profile with staggered setup. This is the only boat I have ever been in that can plane on one engine alone!!!

It's a Scorpion not a Stinger I was told because of the hatches and layout..... I still can't find any info on a staggered boat.
