1986 30' Chris Cat project for sale
1986 30' Chris Cat Hull, #3 Speedmasters and trailer. I just took it on trade and have a few to many projects at the moment. If it sells fine, if not even better. I have always wanted one.
The good
Hull is in good shape and was built as a pleasure boat. Paint should come up.
# 3 Speedmasters are in good shape with a 1.5 to 1 ratio. They are getting hard to find and harder to find parts for so if someone does not want them I will sell them separately
2005 Road Runner custom trailer. It has never been in the water and is in good shape and ready to go
The bad
The bottom 3-6" of the transom is soft The rest seems good
The starboard otter stringer in the engine room is rotted.
The forward engine room bulkhead is rotted.
So she needs some work but is a classic and the cat that started the pleasure boat cat trend.
Could be converted into a nice center console or just to an outboard boat.
Boat is in Texas at the moment and will be there until about 4/6/18. On or about that date it will be transported to the Tampa/St Pete area.
Great Project and no I do not need to sell it and will not give it away but I will sell the drives and or boat and trailer separately.
